Congratulations to the accepted students!

Good stuff. I’m considering applying for the early decision 2 deadline, but I haven’t quite decided yet. Its between Carleton and Madison (very different, i know) and i figure that I’d be better off making the ‘where i want to go’ decision now so i can epply E.D. to Carleton if i do choose to go there.

Congrats to everyone who got in ED!! I visited Carleton last April and fell in love with it, but I’m still applying RD. Very much looking forward to visiting sleepy little Northfield again.

Congratulations to the new Carls!

Congrats to all of the new Carls! Looking forward to seeing you all on campus next fall. sstewart, I know you’ve been hanging around for a while so it’s especially nice for me to see that you were accepted!

CONGRATS to everyone!!

Congrats, everyone! Looking forward to seeing you next year. Hopefully more of you will come out of the woodwork as September gets closer.

Hi all! Congrats to everyone who got in  I just got deferred from my top choice, but Carleton was about equal to it, so now I’m thinking of applying ED 2. Does anyone know anything about ED 2, like… does it actually help to apply early decision second round? And when do the decisions come back?

Thanks!

Congratulations all! I can’t wait to meet you next year!

@aliza: I am under the impression ED 1 and 2 are pretty much the same when it comes to any advantage it might give - it’s still a binding contract, right? I think it is just a much smaller applicant pool because of the timing. And according to the website, decisions should come out by February 15.
