easier majors at UCSD true?

Hello. I will be attending UCSD this fall, but I'm currently undeclared in Bilogical Sciences Department since almost the entire science departments are impacted this year.

I'm planning to go to medical school and since I can't really get into any biology related major, I was thinking I should go into Biological Anthropology or Psychology.

MY QUESTIONS ARE:

I heard that Psychology major or rather, humanities majors are easier to get HIGHER GPA than science majors like biochemistry or molecular biology. Is this true?

Also,

Am I disadvantaged at all by choosing nonscience major in going to medical school?
For example, would I lack some biology knowledge in taking MCAT?

I really really need to know ASAP.

Thank you!!

yes, it’s true.
no, you won’t.

major in what you like.
done.

^ nice. 10char.

The only UCSD departments with impacted majors are biology and engineering (that’s not “almost the entire science departments”).

If you can’t get into a biological science major, you may not be competitive enough for medical school. Therefore, you have to assume that you’ll get into a biological science major for planning purpose.
