To those who have studied for the SATs using Barron's and Gruber's; was the actual SAT easier or harder than the practice tests both prep books gave?

Thanks!

Bump please...

Barrons is so much harder.

I haven't seen Barron's yet (I just ordered it off Amazon, though!), although I understand that Barron's 2400 is much harder than the actual SAT. I suppose you can say that it's for the students who really want to excel...

Even the regular barrons is harder. Let me show you my example for hte PSAT. Before the PSAT i took a couple of Barrons PSAT and usually got around 195-200. Then i went into the test and came back with a 223. Thats a 23 point difference or on the SAT scale 230 pt. Now for most the difference will prolly not be that much, but nevertheless barrons is harder.
