Yeah basically is it easier to transfer as a sophomore or a junior or does that have no relevance?! i know that if i performed horribly in high school, 2 years in college with good grades would show that i made a "change" and etc but it's just a question haha. any input would be appreciated. thanks :)

If you are trying to transfer ‘up’ to a more selective school, then you will have a better chance as a jr transfer. This is because when you apply for a soph transfer, you will have only completed 1 sem of college work and your HS record (gpa & course rigor) and test scores will be given the most weight. As a jr transfer, schools will put more weight on your college record (gpa, rigor of courses, LORs) than what you did in HS.
