My brain is not adept at numbers, math, or anything of the like. What math, statistics, or computer science class would you suggest to a verbal/language-oriented girl? I plan on taking the exam to get me out of the quantitative reasoning requirement, but am almost certain I will not pass. Any info on the test? (PS- I only went up to Algebra II in high school, though I was fairly decent at it.)

Probably Statistics 2, which is also useful information in that having a basic understanding of probability and statistics is useful in many contexts.

You should take ME110 which is offered every spring. It’s a product design class as a team and you can do the written report and the presentation/poster while the other members in the group do the math work. You can definitely not do a single math and get away with it.

ME 110 does not count for the L&S QR requirement; the courses have to be in math, statistics, or computer science.

What a bummer, I honestly think the Quantitative exam offered by the Math department is the best way to go instead of taking a class for a semester. It’s worth a try.

Stats 2 is what I took and I suck at the mathematics too.
