Easiest classes in the CAS for freshman?

Hey, I was wondering what the easiest classes (read: easiest to get As) were in the CAS?

Also, does Penn have a class/teacher rating site?

For the rating site, see

http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/coursereview/

err... that site isn't accessible to anyone who doesn't have a pennkey...

so matriculating students, wait a month, and you'll be able to search the penn course review, which compiles ratings from the course evaluations filled out by just about all students at the end of each term (and which are therefore regarded to be rather accurate, as opposed to the ratings on ratemyprofessor.com, or the like)

Language classes are pretty easy...but of course it all depends on your individual strengths. Steer clear of enormous classes (that are more likely to have tough curves) and you'll have to work at it to get less than a B.

ETA: And you can take CGS classes too, which are generally smaller and less intense, so can be easier to get As in than their CAS counterparts.

FWIW, the easiest class I took at Pen was ANTH 219/719, which basically just requires you to show up and then write a journal entry each week.

bump
(anyone else have any thoughts?)

MATH 170, Ideas in Mathematics.

psych 1 is pretty laid back. Also, any Benjamin Franklin Seminar is a pretty easy A, as they're small honors classes which generally assume that the students in them deserve high grades

i'm in the same shoes... i really want a break in my freshman yr. lol.
any easy writing-requirement-fulfilling course that i can bs through all the way??? help! =)

Race and Academic Achivement is fairly easy.

ditto to Race and Academic Achivement. but its not offered this fall.

the BFS classes are easy? WOuldn't the high calibre students make it harder to do well, or are the classes curved high?
