I've recently completed my common app info, and right now, all I have to worry about is the numerous supplements to fill out. I'm sure many of you are at about the same stage.

Just the other day, I decided to increase my chances of getting in by applying to more schools, so I went on line and found Dartmouth, which has the shortest supplement app yet (seriously, no essays, no extra recommendations)

So I was wondering, what other colleges have the same kind of supplement or just a generally easy app in general?

Tulane doesn't even bother with a supplement if you apply through them. WashU doesn't have one (only a short pre-app sheet that doesn't have any essay or short answers).

I know that Loyola Chicago and Marquette both don't require you to write a new essay. You can if you like, but they'll also accept a previously written paper.

University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has their own app (not Common App) but there are no essays nor teacher recs required (only counselor rec needed).

My D is also loking for a good safety school with just common app (preferably just the councelor letter so that shedoesn't ask for more letters from teachers). She is interested in a big university a notch below NYU and Carnegie Mellon in Northeast. Availability of merit aid is very important (good campuses of our in-state have supplements, and those are different for two campuses D may consider)

There was a thread about this within the last two weeks. One post said you can view a chart on common app web site that shows which one's have supplements and which don't.

To citymom: check out Northeastern. I don't know what they require for recs, but the supplement is fairly easy. It's right in Boston and gives a good amount of merit aid and has a great "coop" program.

I had to check Dartmouth's supplement numerous times to make sure I was doing the correct one. (I thought I'd have to write additional essays for sure!)

Northwestern's supplement isn't bad either.
