Easiest Humanities Classes?

I need two for my divisional requirements. Im going to take AR100 with Saturno but dont know which other one to take. Maybe Cl101 with Henderson or PH160 with Liebesman? or can you think of others? Thanks.

So, I am not proud of myself for helping you, but here is my two cents. I am guessing you are a science/pre-med person trying to keep you gpa up. And I will admit that I took natural disasters as my non-lab science requirement (I had a humanities and a soc science major at BU).

Here’s my two cents. In the real world I tell people what I studied in and they fondly recall taking one of those classes, this includes doctors, science PhDs etc. While humanties are a pain, you know they expect you to “write and stuff”, they are one thing people remember well into adulthood. Believe it or not: art history, philosophy, english, classics and religion classes allow you to have intellegent conversation as an adult. Yes one could argue that it all can be read in books independently (true) but who has the initative to do that if they aren’t majoring in a humanity?

But here it goes. AR100 is super easy. So easy that archeology and anthropology students are not allowed to take it and get credit. My best friend took asian religions (don’t remember the class number) because it did not require a paper. To my knowledge it is the only humanity class that does not require a paper.

thanks and yeah i know a lot about everything mainly due to the internet and traveling which are enough for me to carry intelligent conversations ;). BTW yeah i’m taking AR100 and probably taking PH 160 which is reasoning and argumentation or Cl101 which is ancient greece i think those last two are interesting though

I took CL101 (with Henderson, no less) in my freshman year. Good class. A bit dry, but well worthwhile if you already have a passion for ancient civilizations. TF’s did all the grading, but my TF was a very easy grader. I’m a classical civilization minor now and my CL101 notes still come in handy.

was it hard to get an A on CL101?

Has anyone here taken CL102 (Roman studies)?

does anyone no of others that are easy?
