Easiest Major

I am planning to study at McGill, Bachelor of Arts.
I need to choose my major but I'm having trouble with that..

I was originally planning on doing International Development Studies but
someone told me it is really hard to get a good GPA in that major.
English isn't my first language and people say that there's A LOT to read and write
in IDS....
Is it really that hard to get a good GPA in IDS?

How is sociology / political science / psychology etc.
(please don't be limited to these majors. just any easy major will be fine!)

In that case, what's a major that is easy to get good GPAs?

Please help me out!!!

thanks

Are you seriously so concerned about GPA that you won’t study what you feel is interesting, just because it will be tougher to achieve excellent grades if you do so? Study what you like and think is interesting; that is, after all, what education is all about. Academic excellency comes with interest, passion and hard work.

well it’s because I want to go to med school and everyone tells me that i need a very high GPA. that is my ultimate goal so i’m looking for a major that will help me get there…

i’ve heard a common major for premed students is biology. that would definitely help you if you get into med school. also, another big factor for med school is undergrad research.

I think that if you want to go to med school you should have some degree in science and not in Art. To be honest like that you will not loose 2 or 4 years of your life studying something that you don’t even like and enjoy. A bachelor in Biology could be a great step to you and like that when you will go to med school it will be a lot easier

think about it :)

well i have been doing DEC in health science for two years now (at CEGEP)
and i wanted to try something new…

but thanks for your advice :)
