I need these credits and right now I'm in GEO which is AWFULLY HARD! I can make that my "Part II" requirement and so I need to find the easiest non-major science to help the GPA! Any advice?

Also, between psych, sociology, and anthropology, what is the easiest subject?

I’m a sociology major and I absolutely love it. I’ve taken a psychology and anthropology class also and I think sociology is easier. If you’re looking for a lower division sociology course, I would recommend SOC 308.
Also, I have to take a lower division geology course next semester. Is there a certain class you would recommend or discourage? Thanks!

I agree with hcutexas22. Take Sociology 308 with Anna Muller if possible. It’s a fascinating subject to study: sociology of education.

Also, I reject gleekyboy’s contribution. I took Biology of the Human Body and, while interesting, it most certainly was NOT easy. About 20% A, 20% B, 20% C.

For the social science requirement, I would strongly advise you to take the CLEP test for Sociology instead of taking a class. The test is one of the easiest and you can easily get the required score with some studying. What I would do is to get a used Intro to Sociology text from Half-Priced Books, study on my own, and then sit for test. After which, I would petition for credit for that class.

Also, intro to Psychology is notoriously difficult at UT if you were to take it as a class, so I would advise against taking intro to Psychology. However, many of the upper division classes in Psychology are really good.
