I'm not interested in science and I was wondering what the easiest and most painless science class I should take to fulfill my science requirement. Any insight?

Astronomy 301+309 with Scalo
Easiest astronomy out of all professors. Beware, other professors involve math and physics. Scalo only has 1 easy math problem per text (like square a number and divide)

Scalo is not a very good teacher- extremely spacey and lectures are really disorganized. Plus he’s pretty condescending if you ever ask questions or talk to him.

Physical Science 303 and 304

EASY EASY LAB CLASS

PHY303K with Chiu

He focuses a lot on the theory behind the problems so the actual math part is easy to know how to do.

I’m taking Prehistoric Archeology with Dr. Valdez and it’s very easy.

For the lab, we just watch movies that aren’t at all related to the lecture or tests. The tests are mainly based on the lectures he gives, so it helps to show up in class and take notes but I find the topics very interesting so I don’t really think about skipping anyway. The professor is petty funny and overall cool. If you show him your test with a good reason as to why you missed a question, he’ll give you a point.

Also, no homework. Which is always a huge plus.

For physical science, how are the tests? What’s the grading policy?
