So, since my senior AP courseload turned out to be easier than expected, I’ve found myself with a bit of extra time. AP exams are coming in May, and I thought, why not self-study to take one of the easier exams?
AP Human Geography or AP Environmental Science? Which is easier to self-study and get a 3-5 on the exam with about two months of studying beginning today?
The motive being, of course, that my prospective college accepts both those APs as science credits, so I might as well.
Or, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about AP Human Geo and/or AP Enviro Science if they’re not the easiest. Though I don’t believe any of the other science APs are doable via self-study in just two months time.
AP Human Geo is not a science AP (https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/apcourse) - unless you mean “Social Sciences”… but I’m assuming that doesn’t matter as you said that your prospective college takes either.
Nope, you’re not wrong about any of this.
Personally, I’d say that AP Human Geo would be easier to self study. I’ve had some friends self study Human Geo and pass the AP test. Even this year, a couple of my friends are self-studying AP Human Geo and will be taking the test in May. Good luck!
*edit: Also, this may partially depend on whether you’re better at social studies courses (Human Geo) or science (Environmental Science).
Actually, you’re right about AP Human Geo. Thanks for that heads up. I misread my college’s AP credits, and mismatched courses. So scratch everything about AP Human Geo.
Now the question is: Is AP Environmental Science doable via self-study in two months time? (i.e. score a 3-5 on the exam)
