Easiest upper-div humanities class satisfying CoE R&C requirement?

I want a class that can kill off both the series and R&C "1B" requirements at the same time, so that's why I'm looking exclusively for upper-division courses. Yes, I know R1 series courses are easy, but I don't want to take another upper-div humanities class that I don't need to take. Once I finish this, I'm finished with humanities requirements for my undergraduate degree.

I'm looking for professors who give out as many A's and grade as leniently as possible. Also, the fewer papers/assignments/exams, the better, but to me, that's not as important as easiness. I'll admit it -- all I care about is the grade.

I'm currently looking at Asian American 176 (Genre in Asian Lit). The prof has only four ratings on RateMyProfs, but her ratings look promising (4.8/5 for average easiness). If you know of someone with more ratings around the 4-5 range (say, at least 10 ratings), that'd be even better.

Thanks in advance.

R and C classes are only lower div as far as I know. I'm not sure how CoE works. 2 You can also take things in the social sciences- it's not a humanities requirement, but a humanities and social sciences requirement.

for CoE you can take 1 lower div + 1 upper div in the same department and that'll satisfy the series.

as for your question, if you took any lower div english course, you can take english 135 AC, which will satisfy series + R1B + AC.

Then you wouldn't know because you're not a CoE student.

The CoE has a list of upper-div humanities courses that count as R&C courses, but possibly only within the CoE.

The R&C requirement is a whole separate thing from the SS/humanities requirement, which I've already fulfilled.

And as far as I know, the two required R&C courses do NOT have to be "series" courses, i.e. in the same department.

I wasn't sure if courses which aren't actually designated R and C fulfill the CoE R and C reqquirement, at least the second half. While the series and SS/H requirement might be seperate, I thought almost everyone did their series within their SS/H classes. You made it sound as if only hum classes work, and not also social sciences courses. Anyway, I hope you've read this. Best of luck.
