<p>UChicago has an excellent, but very rigorous (to qualify for honors one must have a 3.0 GPA, grading is tough) East Asian Languages department.</p>
<p>If you want an Liberal Arts College environment, Oberlin's program seems to be very good.</p>

<p>Indiana University-Bloomington has a well-regarded East Asian Languages program.</p>
<p>I know someone who goes to Temple University for EAS. He loves it there.</p>
