<p>Not that I’m aware of.</p>
<p>But your best bet would probably be to apply to schools with strong language and study abroad programs (think Middlebury, Elon, Kalamazoo).</p>
<p>It would depend on whether you want a pure language program or something else…there are two other angles to east asian studies:</p>
<p>-EALC (east asian languages & cultures): generally a more cultural/anthropology view of east asian cultures. More emphasis on Confucian thought, buddhism, early Chinese dynasties, etc</p>
<p>-modern East Asian Studies: considers the contemporary economics, politics, histories of modern East Asian states.</p>
<p>Since these are relatively rare fields they are more likely to be well-covered at a university than a LAC</p>
