<p>Just wondering if anyone has any info on East Carolina, my son has shown an interest and wondering if it's worth the drive to check it out from Upstated NY. Tuition seems very reasonable, any thoughts?</p>
<p>Several members of my family went to ECU. They all loved it tremendously! A friend of mine from CT sent her daughter there a couple of years ago and she loves it, too.</p>
<p>One huge plus of ECU is that they are known for helping students really succeed. Their program for students with LDs was a <em>huge</em> blessing to my now very successful brother.</p>
<p>ScrappinMom, I went to ECU as did quite a few family members. My younger S will be a freshman at ECU this Aug. I loved my time there. Most everybody I know who went to ECU loved it. There is an Open House this Saturday at ECU(info. on the ECU website), also the football team's Purple and Gold scrimmage game plus a big BBQ. Football is a big deal at ECU. <p>Friend's D attended as a dance major, she's now running a dance education program at a respected private school in the South and working in a professional dance company. She absolutely loved it, her Mom thought it was a great deal.</p>
