East Carolina University Admission

Hi !
I applied to ECU a while ago and they told me they wanted to see my first semester grades before letting me in. I had a 3.0 GPA and now I have a 3.1 and my SAT score is 1560. ( 480- CR 530- M and 550- W ) I just sent them my semester grades like 3 days ago and yesterday I saw that they said decision made and I will be receiving it in the mail. I heard that If it says "final HS Transcript" then you've been accepted. But mines doesn't say that. So my question is, Does it take a few days for that to show up? Or does it show up immediately ? AND If it doesn't say it, will I still have a chance at getting in?

ALSO, Do you think I could get in by what academic status right now?

Ultimately, your grades and your test scores make up about 50% of the admissions process at any school. If you spend hours on your essay, making it the strongest representation of your work ever written, create positive relationships with your teachers to ensure wonderful recommendation letters, portray that you are a community activist that will add a tremendous amount of pride to their community, and show the admissions office that ECU is where you really want to go (and why)…you’ll have a great shot at getting accepted. Extra-curriculars look really nice too when an admissions board is making a decision. Don’t stress yourself out about being accepted to college, all you have to do is show them how badly you want it, and how hard you are willing to work to get there.

Can you 100% confirm that the unchecked final high school transcript box means you are accepted? Because I checked tonight and that box popped up!
