<p>Hi! I've posted a chance thread once before, but I just got in the May SAT scores, and my score went up 180 points! I'd just like to see what you guys think, for curiosity's sake. Thanks in advance!!</p>

<p>White, female junior.
Region: Midwest (MN)
School: a few go to top schools (4 to Ivies/top LACs this year, out of about 120)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.21 weighted (out of 4.6), 3.97 unweighted.</p>

<p>SAT: 2230 (cr: 800, m: 720, w: 710 (9 essay))
ACT: 34</p>

<p>APs:
Junior year: APUSH, English Language (don't know scores... prob 4/5s)
Senior year: AP Euro, English Lit, AP Calc, AP Physics</p>

<p>Course load: By senior year I will have take all the AP/honors courses offered at my school.</p>

<p>ECs:
Varsity tennis (4 yrs)
Varsity speech (3 yrs)(1st/3rd place sub-sections)
Theater
Track (2 yrs)
Campus Ministry
Ski Club
Science Club
NHS
Youth Group (peer minister for younger kids)
Part-time job (~20 hrs a week)
Volunteer camp counselor at a camp for kids with muscular dystophy (this summer)
Mission trips (3rd this year)</p>

<p>Total service hours: ~140 (right now), ~250 (mid-senior year)</p>

<p>National History Day: Honorable Mention in state competition</p>

<p>i see no real problem for any of the schools...only georgetown and dartmouth seems to be a small reach for you. It's excellent that you've taken all the AP courses offered at your school. If it's not too late, I would try to get a President/Captain position in one of the clubs, and focus on maintaining a good GPA, if possible, even raising it. the SATs look good. Are you not taking any SAT 2's?? Some schools on your list require them. </p>

<p>I'm taking SAT II's in June, actually: US History and Literature, and then probably Math II next fall.</p>

<p>limetime said a lot of the stuff i'd have said, but I think Georgetown is more of a match based on your stats vs. stats of a friend that got in this year. Try and emphasize your religious influences and community service. That seems to be a strong point.</p>
