Well, this is probably my 4th thread tonight, but I'll go for it anyway. I need suggestions for colleges;
semi-competetive--->competetive.
Preferably on the east coast or slightly inland. Exceptions= some of my choice and/or schools:WUSTL, Notre Dame, Cornell, U Chicago
Intended major: Biochemistry or Pre-Veterinary med
Setting: prefer town, suburban, or rural, buttt if I really like the school, city's okay too.
Any questions? just ask

Take a look at the Patriot League of colleges, all 3-4000 students, top notch academics and division 1 sports and range from DC to Massachusetts. [The Patriot League - Official Athletic Site](http://www.patriotleague.org/)

what are your stats like?

@huskem. I HATE going into detail w/ stats, but I’ll give you a brief and undetailed insight:

Classes:
Freshman=all honors
Soph=all hon and 1 AP (only one offered)
Junior= all hon and 2 AP (only 2 offered)
Senior=All AP

SATs= good. hoping to raise a bit in the fall, but good
3 SAT IIs, no scores yet

top 5 students (rank isn’t specifically given) @ private school
ECs- several school clubs; starting a new club in the fall; sports every season
A couple academic awards
Work all four years throughout school
Volunteer work every year
private music lessons
Private lessons in a third language
etc etc. kinda like that.

I know that’s not much help, but I’m looking for good schools on the East coast that I might not already know about; as in, not the traditional name bearers, but ones that are reputable

Holy Cross, Tufts.

Tufts is outta the price range unless I get good financial aid. any others?

Tufts has one of the best veterinary schools in the nation at it’s 600 acre Grafton Campus in Massachusetts. (The only Veterinary school in New England)

Johns Hopkins is renown for biochemistry (highly regarded for one of the toughest biochemistry course in the nation) and is ranked top 3 in biochemistry. It’s also known very well for pre-med which although does not fit your criteria for pre-vet precisely, i’m assuming there is a lot of overlap. Competitive student body, located in a affluent nice neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland on the East Coast. Safest campus in America :)
