East coast schools

I just got back from a recent trip where I visited villanova, Richmond, Fordham. I’ve seen many others but villanova is definitely my number 1. The only problem is it’s kind of a stretch for me. Here are my stats: ACT score is 30 (trying to get 31). Just took the SAT but haven’t gotten it back yet. My GPA is 3.7, I’m a junior and have really improved my GPA this year (not sure if they look at that) I’m just curious what are some schools I should look at that are really close to villanova in terms of academics and also if I have a shot to get in at villanova? I loved Richmond I thought it was beautiful and quaint. Any suggestions? If

You definitely have a shot at Villanova. The mid 50 range for ACT is 29-31, so you are in the mix. An upward trend is looked at, as well as course rigor, so make sure your classes next yr are challenging. Other similar type schools to consider may be Bucknell, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Lafayette. For schools that may be a bit easier to get into - Providence, Loyola Maryland, Hobart, Union, James Madison

I’m taking 3 AP classes next year which hopefully should help. I’ve heard really good things about holy cross. How is Lafayette?
