Does anyone know of colleges with good undergrad business programs along the east coast, preferably between New York and Virginia?

I'm dreaming of Wharton, but that is definitely a reach. I know about Stern at NYU, but how about any small private colleges with strong business programs? Any of the so called "sub-Ivys" have good business programs? Or any school with a good business program, really.

Emory U in Georgia
Wake Forest in NC
(Not really in your preferred region, but technically still “east coast”)
MIT in MA
Boston U (ok business school…within top 50 according to business week) in MA
I hope this helps! I am also looking into similar east coast business schools, but my dream is Cornell Hotel School…if not, then Wharton I was a little upset when Wharton got bumped down to #3 by business week though…I would check those rankings to get ideas going also!

tbolt–Do you literally mean east coast, as in close to the coast? How far to the west do you consider "east cost?'

Thanks. I was looking at those rankings, just wondering if anyone on here had any experience with any of those colleges, or any that weren’t ranked.

But yeah, thanks for the suggestions.

And morris, I’m really not looking further west than PA.

There are many east coast schools great in undergrad business programs that are not Ivy. You need to give your stats and desires for a school for people to give more input.

Temple University Fox School of Business. Not far from Penn/Wharton either.

As for stats:

Not sure of my exact GPA, weighted is slightly above a 4. I’m ranked in the top ten students out of a class of about 500. I’m taking the ACT in April, I figure on getting above a 32. I’m taking 4 AP classes next year. My ECs include National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Natural Helpers, Key Club (volunteering group), soccer for four years, and I’m waiting to hear from the NJ Governor’s School.

UVa
W&M
UMaryland --CP
NYU

William & Mary is building a new building by the Mason (Legg Mason) family who are alums. Very rare for an LAC of this quality to offer a Business program.

W&M isn’t a LAC - it’s a small public university.
