Go to ELACC if you like the sound of gun shots. If not, go to PCC.

No, but seriously, I don't know anything about ELACC. But just the fact that it's in East LA, hmmm, I dont know, I personally wouldn't want to go there.

As for PCC, it's a pretty nice campus. However, I heard that the classes there are kind of hard.

^HAHAHAHA, if you're interested in working on campus you should go to ELAC. My homegirl works there as an English tutor and she is making mad bank.

elac is ghetto..........very ghetto.....
i went to both elac and pcc....pcc is much nicer, but i would say that overall especially in math and science courses PCC is a lot more competitive. ELAC for easier As tho..

I mean ELAC is kinda ghetto but it's really not that bad. It's not like you're going to get shot there for being a student. It's still in the somewhat nicer areas of East Los Angeles, well, it is in Monterey Park officially..

ELAC is easier, PCC is more challenging.

Although both of these colleges are closest to me. PCC is 5 miles away, and ELAC is I think 4 miles or 5, about the same.
But I chose Glendale Community College, which is only 10 miles away from me, but it is worth the drive. I am really glad I made the choice to go to GCC. It's a really good community college I have no regrets driving the extra 5 miles at all.
Besides, too many kids that went to high school with me got to PCC and ELAC.

I went to both ELAC and PCC once. ELAC actually locates in a nice place. Starbucks and Tower Records are nearby. I went to night classes, but I've never encountered any gun shots! :D Everybody told me classes in ELAC were very easy. But I got C's in there, and I dropped finally. Classes in ELAC can be hard as hell. My friend enrolled in ochem 2, only 8 people stayed after mid-term!! I've another friend who was trying to add a class in there, the professor told her that she had to clean his SUV in order to get in. LMAO

ELAC now has a new building that looks a bit like the bookstore of CSULA(Red Bricks and UCLAish). :D

i don't care how hard the classes are, i've already been accepted. I was just wondering which college has the better selection of classes / cooler people.. so it seems like i'm leaning towards PCC.. thanks for the input guys.

If I go to Cerritos I'll be able to register my classes as of tomorrow. My friend told me that he told one counselor that he wanted to major in one engineering discipline and the counselor told him that engineers don't really start off their education at Cerritos. I'm guessing Cerritos isn't too serious of a campus maybe.

I applied to Pasadena City College and I'll most likely go there despite it being twice as far as Cerritos is from where I live. Pasadena City College has a nice library and I hear many of the teachers have a PhD. By the way, my registration appointment was set to August 8 for Pasadena City College. Does anyone know if that date is a little too late or somewhat okay to be able to register into Calculus I and English?

ELAC is not in East LA. It is in monterey park. I went there and it was pretty good. I was a math major and the teachers were great. 2 of them worked for JPL and were PhDs. You cant beat that. I hate to say this but there arent too many smart people there so they make the classes passable. I noticed this when I took all the IGETC classes. If you use ratemyprofessor, you can find the best teachers. I heard that the only good thing about PCC is the hot asian ladies.

PCC have many professors working or worked at JPL as well and I'd say the physics classes at PCC are really competitive unlike the one i took at elac (Physics 2). Overall, I'd say the student body of PCC > ELAC in terms of quality.
