east vs west

<p>East Coast is :)</p>

<p>West Coast makes me feel like this :(</p>

<p>And Midwest people just sound…</p>

<p>well,
West has
Beaches, Hollywood, Disneyland, Amazing weather, and Surfers that go “Hang ten, dude!”</p>

<p>EAST COAST!
East has -. better beaches, disney world, the BEST weather(hello, its called seasons), surfers, AND smarter people in general(best colleges, prep schools, even regular folk- 'cause we’re cool like that)
AND more than 1 good politician
etcetc</p>

<p>East coast :D</p>

<p>Actually, Rad.
Californians are super smart, especially in math and science</p>

<p>I’m on the west coast.</p>

<p>thanks.</p>

<p>Midwest ftw.</p>

<p>East East! :)</p>

<p>East coast for life!</p>

<p>West coast, best coast!</p>

<p>Midwest, yo!</p>

<p>-Access to LOTS of great places like Chicago, Detroit/Ann Arbor, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and St. Louis.
-We have better seasons!
-Great schools (Chicago, Northwestern, U of M, UIUC, WashU, Carleton, Macalester, Oberlin, MSU).
-A great history that gets taught in Sinclair Lewis and Sherwood Anderson novels.
-Theme parks such as Six Flags Ohio and the King of All Theme Parks, Cedar Point.
-Easier access to Canada.
-We can actually say “yo” and be taken seriously.</p>

<p>lmao^great post</p>

-------definitely. milwaukee/st paul/cincinatti/columbus/cleveland/st louis are all so much better than la/ny.
-We have better seasons!
-------LAWL.
-Theme parks such as Six Flags Ohio and the King of All Theme Parks, Cedar Point.
-------so much better than disney land/disney world/orlando studios/knotts berry farm/seaworld/the harry potter theme park being built in 2010
-Easier access to Canada.
-------Canada=useless
-We can actually say “yo” and be taken seriously.
-------nah, west coasters will still laugh at you</p>

<p>wartsandall,
my sleep schedule is whacked, haha. lol</p>

<p>11:03 Time to revive a thread!! :)</p>

<p>i’m gonna turn from a demoted cc board stalker to a poster"EAST COAST!</p>

<p>“East has -. better beaches, disney world, the BEST weather(hello, its called seasons), surfers, AND smarter people in general(best colleges, prep schools, even regular folk- 'cause we’re cool like that)

  • How does the east have better beaches? the west has beaches for ever type of weather, sun, warm, breezy, cool, freezing.
  • How does the EAST have better weather? san francisco has the best weather ever; not too hot in the summer, not too cold in the winter. east coast is fooling themselves in a hallucination of polluted snow.
  • West coast invented surfing. (Well, Hawaii did but Hawaii is the west coast) And furthermore, we made it what it is.
  • Okay, you’ve got upper class new england and all of their little boarding schools. You’ve got NJ which is comparable in ratio, but not in quantity, of talented people to California. California = the two big UCs, several amazing LACs, several amazing universities, caltech, etc. you also forget to realize that the computers you’re using were most likely to have been produced in california (well, china, but you get the gist of it)
  • “and more than 1 good politician” at least we don’t have weirdos like eliot spitzer.</p>

<p>East coast!</p>

<p>East coast.</p>

<p>look at my location. :P</p>

<p>west coast</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>Lol, you just called Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit “great places.” </p>

<p>Lol, better seasons? I don’t see it.</p>

<p>East Coast has better schools. Harvard, Yale, Penn, Brown, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth. UNC, Duke, UConn, Emory. </p>

<p>As for history, American Revolution and all related people and events are greater than anything in the Midwest.</p>

<p>Theme Parks? Like Disneyworld? Oh, that’s East Coast. And NJ has a Six Flags with the highest/fastest roller coaster in the world. Cedar Point is cool, though.</p>

<p>Easier access to Canada? I fail to see how this is a plus.</p>

<p>East vs. West is debatable, but Midwest vs. East really isn’t.</p>
