I just received my AP scores for this year - along with many other students this morning at 5am (Collegeboard actually crashed because of the high volume!) - here's the scores I received - what did you get?

AP English Language - 5
AP World History - 5
AP Environmental Science - 5

Scoff as you might, but the Environmental test was insane this year.

And yes, you are in fact right, this is actually a bragging post. I'm on vacation right now, and my scores brought me and my Dad to tears. Oh joyful day!

AP World History- 4

Wasn’t expecting that, figured I’d get a 3 or so. Preamble, congratulations! You’re one of the few for World! (Around 5.7%, wasn’t it?)

@CE527M - Thank you! Yes, it was such a jarring percentage, and the fact that they were released before my scores put me in this state of near constant anxiety that I got a 2. Congratulations on your World score!

Sigh. I got a 3 for World History. I mean, it’s good if this is the first AP exam I’ve ever taken, right?

@AnImpAffliction - A 3 is fantastic for ANY AP exam taken at ANY time, it means that you’re qualified for college level work. Congratulations! I got a 4 on my first AP (US History) and it was by far one of my proudest achievements to date. Congratulations!

@preamble1776 - Thank you for the comforting words. I was actually expecting a 2 because of the essays. Congratulations on your 5s!!

Question: Is there a way we can find out what we got on our individual essays?

@AnImpAffliction - I have the nervous tendency to anticipate 2’s all the time - probably because there always seems to be a high volume of 2’s in the score distributions of most classes and/or I’m a defeatist, apparently.

As to your question, I have never actually looked into my score breakdown, last year, when I got my APUSH score, I was pretty much like, “Thank God I got a 4, let me never give this a second look or CollegeBoard might change their mind.” LOL. I’m sure there’s someway to order your score breakdown, but it’ll probably be later on, and cost some bit of money. I could very well be wrong - hopefully someone will correct me if I am.

@preamble1776, I checked the College Board website and they said you can request them to mail your free-response booklet for a fee of $7, so I guess that’s the only option. I was just checking in case I didn’t see a link that says CHECK YOUR ESSAY SCORES HERE.

US-3 This was pretty good for my first AP,colleges I want to go to award credit for it too. I had true anxiety that I got a 2

Art History: 4
US History: 5

If anyone’s interested in Virginia Tech, they give 3 credits for people who score a 3 on the World History Exam and 6 credits for people who score 4s and 5s on the WH exam.

Human Geo (self-study): 5

@petlover1022, congrats!!!

@AnImpAffliction thank you!

Anybody else see this today for APUSH? Anybody know how long the delay might be?

Your score: –
Score delayed - will be reported as soon as possible (code 80)

Calc BC - 4
AB subscore - 4

Well that just bites doesn’t it?

Environmental Science - 5

Now that’s a little bit better

Calc BC 5
AB subscore 5
Chem 5
Econ Micro 5
Econ Macro 5
Eng Comp 5
World Hist 5

Ok I’m not really sure what I am doing wrong but I am in Virginia so today is my early access date right? But when I click the button that says View your Scores it only shows me my 2012 scores and it doesn’t prompt me for my 2013 AP number or anything. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem. Only my 2012 scores are showing… Anyone else?

This was my first AP so I didn’t have any problems.

World History - 5

I was so surprised that I made the top 6%. I studied for this exam for hours, and the hard work actually paid off!
