<p>i'm going to Eastern WA University in Cheney, Wa starting in January. I have visited, this may be an assumption without much basis because i only spent 2 hours there, but, i didn't see MY people. When i say 'my people', i mean those who are often referred to as freaks, weirdos, goths, artists..... I cannot drag this out any longer, searching for a school, so i will be attending.... its just that a lot of the people i saw looked like extras from The OC (guys very muscular and fit and sporty, women looked very preppie)... they are probably very nice people, which is fine, but do my people exist in this part of WA or at my school?</p>
<p>Western or Evergreen. Only so many to go around.</p>
<p>Eastern Washington is a very conservative part of the state and NOT AT ALL like the Western half. </p>
<p>What prompted you to consider EWU if you are an artist/goth/grunge kind of person?</p>

<p>i was going to go to Evergreen when we lived in Vancouver, WA but we moved here, now living in Coeur d Alene Idaho, i didn’t wanna travel 7 hours just to go to a school</p>
