<p>Has anyone gotten their audition date from Eastman yet, or do you know when they are going to send them out? </p>
<p>We need to make travel arrangements and the airfare gets more expensive the later we book.</p>
<p>You should really call them or check their website but what instrument are you?</p>
<p>Last year we heard (a yes) less than 3weeks from the audition date. Eastrman is notoriously late.</p>
<p>We are wondering the same thing. We are waiting on prescreening results. Are all of you as well? We did the early version of whatever Eastman offers and still have not heard back. Is anyone else in this sitation?</p>
<p>A friend of my daughter’s just heard (today I think or over the weekend) about prescreening at Eastman. Flute</p>
<p>D is an oboist, so no prescreening is necessary. She filed for by the Nov. 1st priority deadline. D did inquire about 2 weeks ago and they said they hadn’t gotten to the oboes yet. </p>
<p>Her schedule is tight as she is really booked with other auditions. Depending which date they give her, we may have to fly directly from Rochester to another audition, so I can’t even book some other trips yet, till I hear from them.</p>
<p>Will tell D to contact them again and see if they can just give her a definite on the date.</p>

<p>My D is still waiting to hear about a flute prescreen. She submitted her recording and application materials right before Thanksgiving and noted Feb. 3 as her preferred audition date.</p>
<p>D got e-mail today. She got her first choice of date for oboe audition. No time yet, but I’m just happy I can book the flight!</p>
