Okay, so I had to drop a 4 unit math class because I absolutely did horrible on the first midterm, but now I struggling to find a class this late in the semester.

What classes would you recommend me take at this point?

Any help would be appreciated since the add/drop deadline is today. Thanks!

CS 61AS? Since it is self-paced, you can “catch up” if you are motivated.

Realistically, you are probably well behind in any course that you have not been attending and doing the reading and other work for up to this time. So a self-paced course is your main opportunity to “catch up”. Most of the usual easy courses like Political Science 179 are 1 unit.

I’ve already taken that. Would taking one of the CS 9 series be fine this late?

As the CS 9 courses are self-paced, you can “catch up” if you are motivated. But they are only 1 unit each, and there may be some limits on the amount of credit you can get from them.

However, the course itself may have some rules about adding the course or when you must complete the first assignment:

Which course did you end up adding?

Ended up signing up for CS 9H and a decal class. Like ucbalumnus said, if I signed up for any other class I’d be behind.
