I want to self study for two Ap tests this year. I want to know which ones are easier to help me decide which ones to do, and I'm probably going to do psychology already. So any recommendations or advice would be great.

Based on what other people have said, AP Human Geo and AP Environmental Science are pretty easy courses. However, if college credit is your primary reason for taking the course, I’d make sure these courses are accepted by your college(s) of choice.

The three “easiest” AP’s people typically say are the easiest to self study for are AP Human Geo, AP Psych, and AP Environmental Science - you have to remember though, that they ARE AP’s - so hey might not be “easy.”

Other courses - such as Comp. Gov or US Gov might be good ones to self-study if they work with some of the courses you’re taking in school…

Well in my area and neighboring cities basically the only options I have are U.S history, Euro history, micro econ, chem, bio, physics, and psychology. I’m going to do psychology and probably either U.S. history or Euro history. Unless, I find an environmental science test location. I’m taking the tests just to get some general credits for college so that’s why I want the easy ones.

cant u talk w/the AP test coordinator and college board will prolly be able to send a test just for u for the ap test coordinator to proctor.

I’m sure college board would do that, but I don’t think my counselor would be willing to spend that much time proctoring a test for just me.

ummm ur counselor has a requirement to do tht. ur parents culd talk to the school if u dont hve a place to take the test and then ur counselor would HAVE to proctor the test for you. its his job and if he doesn’t then he isnt doing his job right… if i were u, id self study easy ap’s like ap chinese, enviro, human geo, psych, and stats. those r the EASIEST Ap’s… i mean i hve met ppl tht hve self studied hard ap’s like ap history class then got a 2 on the exam, so better self study an easy one and do great than a hard one and bomb it.

So my counselor agreed to proctor the tests for me. I’e decided to do human geo and environmental science. The next question is whether or not I need to buy textbooks for them or if prep booklets are good enough? And, if I need which textbooks which authors should I use?

Do all sample multiple choice and FRQ’s on both these subjects (after you have learned a good deal of the material). Where to get these?

HG:

[AP Central - The AP Human Geography Exam](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>AP Human Geography Exam – AP Central | College Board)

ES:

[AP Central - The AP Environmental Science Exam](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>AP Environmental Science Exam – AP Central | College Board)

The above are FRQ’s. For legit released multiple choice sections, google is your friend.
You can get a review book for each subject (Barron’s, 5 Steps, Princeton Review, etc.), but if you wanna go in depth you can get a textbook for each (idk which tho cuz both ur subjects r boring lulz)

I’m taking human geo/environmental in school. For textbooks we use -
Human geo: Cultural Landscape: Introduction to Human Geography
Environmental: Miller Living in The Environment

Can courses that you self study go on your transcript?

It honestly just depends on the school. Ask their policy. At mine they didn’t count at all for transcripts. Others it can help your gpa.

How helpful is the FLVS AP course?

Ignore my previous comment. What do you guys feel about self-studying AP Micro/Macro Econ? Both of them. Is it doable? How hard are the Econs in general? I heard they were easy.

APUSH or Human geo

Im self-studying AP Environmental Science, AP European History, and AP Psychology. Im going to be a sophomore
