So I got emails from Case Western and Baylor saying they wanted me to apply with some sort of easy application where iI don’t have to pay a fee, write an essay, and half my application is already filled out. Is this stuff legit? Like will I have a higher chance of being accepted to those schools if I apply with that application?
You’re being courted b/c indicators are that you’re in the range of typically admitted students. Of course they want your app. Is it a guarantee? Nope.
It’s to entice you to consider them. It worked. Many others will follow. Act accordingly.
It does not guarantee admission. Those applications are used to increase admission applications to the schools. The primary advantage is that it is free to apply.
