Easy As

Hi everyone.
I’m a first year premed and am looking for classes for spring semester. I’m taking bio, chem and psych and want one more class that will be easier content-wise to boost my GPA. I’m considering visa0100 and mes0100.
does anyone know of any easy A classes, maybe ones with papers instead of midterms and exams?
Thank you so much!

I’m not up on current offerings, but look for courses which say in the description that they are specifically for non-concentrators. In my case that was an introductory human physiology course specifically for people who weren’t premed or anything (and yet it was taught by a med school instructor – good 'ole Brown!) It was HS level, featuring multiple-choice test questions and not at all difficult. The point was simply to impart useful information (which I’ve continued to make use of over the decades) to whomever was interested. An introductory geology course (also multiple-choice in the case of the one I took) can likewise be interesting and yet not involve much strain – just simple memorization (good 'ole Brown, Round 2: I learned basic lunar geology from a guy who instructed the Apollo astronauts before they explored the Moon).

OTOH, the intro courses I took which required papers were more unpredictable. My first paper in Deviant Behavior was distributed by the prof to the entire class as an example of the quality of work he expected, but then I got an F (from a TA grader?) on the essay part of the midterm. [A “fifth class”, for fun, so I dropped it before the deadline and focused on the other courses.]
