Classes @ Berkeley are hard and once in a while we need a "filler" class to balance things out a bit. So, I think it would be great if everyone on CC took a second to name a few classes they have taken or heard of that are REALLY easy. Then the CC commnity will always have a list that we can reference when in need of an easy class.

NAME THE CLASS AND THE PROF

I'll Start: Anthro 2AC (Prof. Lightfoot)
EPS 80 (Prof. Berry)
Music 27 (Prof. Van Orden)

LET'S KEEP THIS GOING! IF YOU'VE VISITED THIS THREAD, THEN POST @ LEAST 1 CLASS THAT YOU KNOW OF!

Of all the classes I've taken at Cal, I found Psych 150 and Psych 160 to be the easiest (by a landslide). For me, the workload for those classes was miniscule. The only homework (when I took them) was "reading," but I've found that it wasn't necessary for me unless I was studying for the exams. The only work I did in those classes was studying for 5 hours the night before each of the 3 exams. That's it, and I know I wasn't alone.

ESPM 119 chemical ecology fun class and only need 30 min study before each midterms to get A. exams are based on different experiments discussed in class

ASTRO 10 extremely fun class, exams are really easy.

PMB 10. Basically, I didn't do anything the entire semester, other than write a 3-page paper. Crammed the entire semester's worth of material the day before the final(wasn't fun though), aced it, and got an A in the class.

The easiness of Math 1A really depends on your professor. Last Fall there were 3 Math 1A classes-- taught by Borcherds, Haiman, and Steel. Borcherds and Haiman were really easy and had a great helpful curve. Steel's curve was the unhelpful kind where you needed more than a 90 to get an A on some of his exams.
