Easy GH Classes

Hey all,

I'll be an incoming freshman this fall, and on May 20 I am going for my advising day. As i'm doing this advising "homework" it asks me to fill in some classes of interest. I've read of some easy/interesting gen ed classes, but not really any GH classes. So my question is what are some easy GH classes to take. I am planning to be a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology major, so I feel my schedule will already be difficult enough as is. Please post with suggestions, and recommended professors if you have any in mind...THANKS!!!

Think about PHIL 11: Philosophy of Science or PHIL 132: Bioethics, which might interest you if you’re a science major. I’ve also heard good things about RL ST 1, which is an intro to the 5 major world religions.

great!! thank you. and yeah i heard about the last one you mentioned. i def plan on looking into that one…any idea of the difficulty of the first 2?? thank you

Any of the intro level HIST classes tend to be easy.

what about the class dealing with World War II?? i’ve always had an interest for WWII

I haven’t heard anything bad about it. Just double check the prof on rate my prof. If he/she isn’t listed on the site, then the instructor may be a grad student. The Hist class i took taught by a grad student was very easy.

is that a trend with grad students have you heard? or do you just know that from your individual experience? i know i saw this one guy who teaches the class. last name started with a K. idk. but anyway it said on that rate professor or whatever its called that he demands participation, but is very humorous and makes the class enjoyable. easiness scale was about a 3 out of 5.

That was my only class that was taught by a grad student. If he is on rate my prof then he is a either a lecturer or a prof. Don’t be turned away by those ratings though, I always take them with a grain of salt.

alright thanks for the info!
