Easy question.

I'm sure the information is out there, but out of collegeboard, case.edu, and the email from case, I still can't find the answer.

If I've submitted for RD, do I find out as soon as they know, or do they release on 4/1 only?
It says "BY 4/1" in their email, but I didn't know for sure if it is regular or rolling.

Also, from those who have been accepted in the past, when to accepted students typically receive merit aid offers?

My friends started getting merit aid offers in February after being admitted EA. Case has in no way a rolling admission, and statuses are not posted until April 1.

wow. february...i was hoping it wouldn't take that long to hear about merit aid

I was told by two different admission officers at Case (I asked a year ago and this year in an interview) that the merit aid is included in your acceptance letter within the first paragraph, actually. I saw it somewhere on the Case website too, but I don't recall where; probably under the scholarship/financial aid section?

well, the acceptance letter shows your initial scholarship money. i'm not sure if it's merit-based or need-based.
my friends were offered additional money, like need-based, after they filed their FAFSAs in february.

ok. yeah, that makes a lot more sense

You're right jneohio, you get merit in the acceptance letter and financial aid later.

I just found out that I got the Trustee's Scholarship :-D What a relief!

Congrats, GuitarRckr, and everyone else who got those great scholarships!

I only got the provost's "special" scholarship. :/.
Which is strange, because it's a bit more money than the regular provost scholarship, just because I'm a small percentage Hispanic. Haha it's not like I'm giving it up, though!

I got the Dean's Scholarship. I still don't think it's gonna be enough though. :/ FAFSA will be no help.
