is it easier to get into stanford ea than into harvard ea??

nope, EA Harvard is easier. 23% vs. 19%

wow that's interesting statistic, although you have to consider the fact that more people apply to H EA than S SCEA

and H pool is way more competitive

A little more competitive not by that much though.
There is no doubt that Stanford is overall the best school.

what airforce1 said.

lol. well i dunno - they are both d@mn hard and there is nothing close to a shoe-in for either. well, except for one i know who was asked to apply to harvard, given money, and given an "unofficial" acceptance.

Stanford isn't easy to get in for anyone.

Admission rates, and most other available statistics, tell nothing. The only way to really tell which is "easier" would be to take a random sample of college-bound students, have all of them apply to both schools, eliminate all subjects that got into both or neither, and see which school accepted fewer of the kids the other rejected. There would be other ways (observational study among students with nearly identical stats, etc.), but the point is it is very difficult to say which is "easier." I would wager, as well, that some students would have a better chance of getting into one, some the other.

yeah i bet they are looking for different things
