<p>HI... I was wondering how hard it is to transfer to a "better" college after one or two years of undergrad study?? And how much emphasis is put on highschool test scores, etc. ?</p>

<p>Most schools are harder to get into as a transfer than as a freshmen, particularly highly selective ones. State schools sometimes have transfer agreements with their state’s community colleges which can make those transfers easier.</p>
<p>Most selective schools will still look at high school grades and at SAT scores. State schools are less likely to. There is more emphasis on HS after 1 year of college than after 2.</p>
<p>Some schools (Harvard for instance) no longer accept transfers.</p>
<p>No real person actually wants to go to Harvard anyway.</p>
