EBME graduate schools with 3.0 range GPA requirement

What are some graduate schools that offer Biomedical Engineering program for undergraduate students with 3.0GPA?

Hello LanaHere, would it be safe to assume that you’re currently a junior? If so, then there’s still a chance for you to raise your GPA. If you have time in your schedule, then take some easy classes to help raise it up. Moreover, I would recommend googling “best biomedical engineering graduate programs,” look at the lists, and then look into each program’s requirements.

I went ahead and looked into some programs for you and this is what I found after a bit of research.
Northwestern - no enforced GPA, but 3.5 is the avg.
Case Western - minimum of a 2.75 GPA for all masters programs.
Minnesota - 3.2 GPA is preferred, but not required.

Yes, some programs have a minimum GPA requirement. However, realize that there are still many fantastic programs that you can get into.

Thank You @CluelessPotato.
It’s difficult to take “easy” classes when you’re a rising Junior. By this time, there’s no such thing as an “easy” class. Most classes are core Engineering classes.

@LanaHere I understand. If you have any wiggle room with ridiculously easy electives, I’d recommend taking those! Something like psychology, philosophy, or even a business class.

@CluelessPotato, the thing about easy electives: some Engineering students find classes like Sociology and History challenging. My D does. Got a “B” out of Sociology and I know she was not the only Engineering student who got a “B” out of that class. Also, when she was in high school, taking AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Calculus…she said the most difficult class was History. You get the idea.

Anyone else wants to chime in?
