EBook transaction gone awry! Please help!

Hi parents or anyone, please help!

I would never have guess that this simple act of purchasing an ebook through a publisher's website would give me so much headache. All I really want is an ebook for convenience and to protect my back from carrying a heavy backpack. I purchase the ebook August 26 and agree to pay $84.05. I use my credit card (BAC), but I only give a pseudo number which means I use shopsafe. I saw the transaction posted in my account. When I log in, I install the ebray reader. I wasn't too happy to find out that I get only limited views. I thought 3000 views of about 770 pages would not be enough for me. I figure out that I only get 4-5 views for each page. It might seem alot, but in that introductory class, I have to do some key terms, there are lots of quizzes and chapter reviews.

So I email them the next day. I told them I do not like the ebray reader, and that I would prefer the adobe because I do not like limited views and that I would rather save the book in my hardrive than online viewing. They responded quickly, saying that they double my views in ebray reader. So, I did not reply. I was already satisfied.

September 5, I notice that the transaction disappeared which means I am using the ebook without paying for it. I send them an email in that day and ask them if there is something wrong with my payment. They replied:

"Due to a system issue on our end there has been a delay in the billing process. Your account will be charged for your ebook purchase with the next several business days. Please be sure to maintain a sufficient balance in your account to cover these charges when they do come in"

Today, Sept. 12. They send me a pdf invoice copy.
It says the book cost is $84.05 + Sales tax of $7.34 = $91.39.

I am shock. I understand that there is sales tax, but why was I not charge before? Do they have the right to suddenly change their price? What happened to the credit card info that I provided? It seems that they want me to print the pdf file, and send my payment by mail. I have so many question. I know I have to call them. One problem: English is not my first language, and I am afraid that I will not be able to make myself clear.

What do you guys think of this transaction?

I really wish, I just bought the book in amazon. It's only $50 something bucks. It would have save me money and headache. At this point, I am not a satisfied customer. How could a transaction like this be so complicated?
