<p>There is no need to describe “National Merit Semifinalist,” and that is an award, not an “EC.” They will know what a National Merit Semifinalist is.</p>
<p>The things you describe are ones that they might not be aware of, and for ECs the description would cover what YOU actually did and the position you held.</p>

<p>If they easily fit, yes. I would sacrifice complete sentences in favor of more complete information if you run out of space, though. Read it over to be sure it is clear and makes sense.</p>
