EC help

I am currently a junior and the only type of extra cirricular I have is 1 year playing volleyball last year. I plan to play again this year along with running track. If I did a few clubs (NHS and environmental club) for my senior year would that help?? I feel behind since everyone has a load of EC but my parents wouldn't let me do any until I was an upperclassman. How badly does this hinder my chances of getting into a good school? I plan to apply to UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, Stanford, and maybe a few other UC schools. I currently love out of state but I plan to move to California for senior year (is this a good idea?) Can you please tell me the best thing to do for next year regarding ec and suggest other schools to apply to?
Here are my stats:

Class rank- 1 of 600 uw, 2 of 600 w

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! (:

Joining multiple clubs in your senior year won’t help at all. Schools want to see consistency not just random ECs for admission. They try to find a theme and your passion from them.

I’m surprised your parents did that. EC’s are crucial for all top tier schools. Even a strait A student with a perfect ACT score are at a disadvantage with few EC’s. Sorry, but I’m giving you the cold truth.

thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely look for something I’m passionate about to involve myself in

You have to be living in cali for at least a year to be considered for in state tuition i think. Also, try to do things over the summer, like volunteering or an internship or something.

You have to live in California for a minimum of 18 months to become a resident. If you move Senior year, you will have to pay OOS fees probably your first year at any UC.
