<p>I added up the hours I spent on ECs and it turned out that last year, I spent about 42 hours (average) per week on ECs. Is that too much?</p>
<p>I'm a student applying from Germany and we don't have as much school as you guys in the US. I think I have 28 lessons this year, which is about 20 hours of school, so I think that the EC hours are reasonable. Should I send an email to colleges explaining this or should I just not bother at all, because they will know this anyway?</p>
