EC or Supplement

I am considering sending an art supplement with a portfolio of my photography to colleges. I'm wondering if this will be beneficial, and perhaps give me an edge. Also, it is such a huge part of who I am, I feel as though not showing it would be like hiding a huge part of my self.

^^^
That's my flickr, please look through (not just page 1 but all) and tell me what you think. I haven't really gone out and shot "for my portfolio" yet, but have gathered some of my favorites in the set titled "portfolio". Also if there's any you think I should have included please tell me : )

also: I've been on display at a gallery/museum twice, published in the newspaper, and interned with professional photographers

I also have film experience

and its all manual.

see if the colleges you are considering allow it. If they do, from what I’ve read about admissions then when you send it they’ll ask someone from the art dept to take a look. So be careful here; what is an independent critic, not one of your teachers, going to say about it? An enthusiastic rec will help you, but if they pan it then it will hurt you.

thanks that’s good advice
