EC--Presidential campaign

When describing an extra-curricular activity which involved many, many hours of volunteer work for a presidential campaign, should we mention WHICH candidate we worked for? We’re concerned that revealing the candidate could potentially invite bias if the reader of the application is on the other side of the “political fence.” Would failing to mention the candidate seem odd?

I dont think it hurts to mention the candidate whom you volunteered for. What you did and how you made a difference while working in the campaign matters more.
