Hi I have a simple question, I have a lot of CS type extra curriculars which are strong but the thing is I absolutely do not want a CS major because desk jobs are not what I want at all. However I still love computers and programming and I was wondering if whatever major I choose even matters in the admissions process. Thank you 
Do what you enjoy as an EC. No explanations are necessary.
I agree. ECs show that you can:
- Show interest in your community
- Be intellectually curious
- Can do school work and do other things as well
- Show leadership
Lol. I have the opposite situation. I plan on majoring in Comp Sci but I don’t have enough Comp Sci ECs. What kind of Comp Sci ECs have you done?
No problem. Athletes often spend so much time with their sport they have little time for other activities. Admissions understands.
