<p>I want to write this about, well, writing. Should I focus one just one aspect of how it's an extracurricular (if so, I'd write about my internship with the local newspaper), or can I make it more broad, and talk about how I worked for the newspaper but I also do creative writing for myself?</p>
<p>Whichever will allow your essay to be the most personal, detailed, honest and revealing.</p>
<p>I think it would be nice to do both so they can see that it's more than just an extracurricular, but a passion as well.</p>
