<p>And anyone here submitted original compositions? When I emailed the admission office, they said I could send a CD containing two pieces, of varying periods. When I asked whether I could send originals, they said "you could consider sending one original, and one piece from a different period." I'd like to know if anyone here has sent a CD containing solely original compositions. Would also help if you mentioned the genre, and gears used.</p>
<p>seems like this is a good enough answer to your question. i’m guessing they want to see that you are actually qualified to write original music and the only way of doing that is to see that you can play known pieces.</p>
