Bring on the maize & blue...

The Big Red has what is takes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm a fan of cornell, but you don't truly believe that do you?!??! umich had 5 players already drafted in last year's nhl draft... do u know what that means!?!?!??

Not to worry... we've got David McKee the texas backboard in goal... and sides Charlie Cook (ECAC tourney MVP) is a Michigan native... they'll show them who's in charge... Lynah style

that means it's gonna be one heck of an upset!!!!!!! Go Big Red!!!!

lol... i gotta love cornell's spirit... al montoya has been shaken as of late...

The question is now if Cornell will get a 1 seed, it will be close. Anyway...FROZEN FOUR, HO!

Oh, also today, Cornell finished in fourth place at the NCAA wrestling championships with one weight class win (Travis Lee in the 133-lb class). Woot!

Sweeeet!!!

GO BIG REDDDD
I love u guys

Imma be the crazy chick in the hockey jersey from ivy sport who cares to join me im obsessed w/ cornell

As a proud alumnus of both Cornell and Michigan...and the administrator of both forums, I am torn...really I am. NOT!!! Go Blue baby!!! hehe

Alexandre,

How about a friendly little bet on the upcoming ncaa hockey tourney. If Cornell goes farther than Michigan you'll have to wax poetic on the Michigan forum about how Cornell really is the superior school in all respects. If Michigan gets farther, then I'll tell everyone here on the Cornell forum that Ann Arbor is the place to be. Its the figurative equivalent of having to run naked through the streets.

How bout it?

Wharf

WR, are you NUTS! LOL No way dude. Hockey, like most sports, is a game of momentum and mood swings. If Michigan has a proverbial brain fart, they could lose to a lesser team, and then, I would have to eat sh!t with a spoon (Arab proverb! LOL).

Besides, even if Cornell loses first or to Michigan and I were to win the bet, I have no desire to see Cornell humbled. I respect and admire Cornell as much as I do Michigan. The only difference is that I am sentimental about Michigan because it is my first love...so to speak! hehe

Obviously, I want both teams to do well, but in the end, there can be only one! Go Blue!

I can understand that as a moderater, you must be careful and all, but I sense that you're just plain fearful that the blue doesn't have what it takes...

As the great bard, Robert Zimmerman, has sung....

"It's all over now baby blue"

GO RED!

Eeesh.

They just announced on ESPN2 the bracket for the Hockey Tournament, and Cornell is in a very tough draw. They are a 2 seed playing in the West Region in Minnesota. Care to guess who the 1 seed is? That's right, Minnesota. That no be good.

Of course, Michigan has to play Wisconsin in the first round, so they're no better off.

Probably at best a second round exit for Cornell. The bigger ice surface they're talking about is definitely going to hurt Cornell. Cornell's game is limiting teams to 15 shots a game. That's not going to happen against Minnesota.
