<p>It says it starts Friday 2:00 PM to 3:50 PM. Not sure which Friday, but most likely this week?</p>

<p>It’s a class not an ‘orientation’. That’s just the title of the course… read the email again.</p>

<p>I agree with experiment8, it is a ONE unit class and not an orientation. I will take it(still have to send the pre-authorization email to that lady sonia)</p>

<p>It’s a year long freshman seminar aimed at Electrical and computer engineers. ECE1a is the first of the sequence. It begins the friday of the first week of school.</p>

<p>Hey, I got this thing too, (although 10 minutes later they sent me a second email saying that I didn’t need to do any pre-authorization to enroll anymore, as they had already done it for me, as odd as that sounds). You guys think it’s worth the time? Anyone taken it? I’d like to know a bit more about it before I just sign up. Any info is appreciated!</p>
