I'm still not 100% sure which school to go to...Duke is my dream school and I never thought I'd be accepted so I really wanted to go there, and then when I was chosen as an Echols Scholar and College Science Scholar, UVA kind of moved up a little more on the list for me. I didn't get a chance to go to the April 9 scholars day at UVA but I did just get back from Blue Devil Days at Duke. I'm interested in majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry or Neuroscience. I'm also really big on science research so wherever I can get my hands on good opportunities is where I want to go (hence why I'm leaning a bit towards UVA with being a College Science Scholar)...Any suggestions?

One of the main advantages of Duke is that you will have smaller intro science lecture classes.

There are tons of research opportunities at UVa, especially with the new five-story Life Sciences Research Building opening in August. I’m not a CSS, but one of my first-year roommates was and it seemed like they had great opportunities to meet professors and get involved in research quickly. Charlieschm is definitely right in that the intro science classes at UVa are pretty big, though.

Yeah I’m kind of looking for a smaller feel…I guess I think I know what my choice is.
