Echols Status Revoked?

Someone PLEASE put my panic to rest.

I was admitted (ED) to the Echols Scholars Program (with a letter). And, today I decided to go surfing through the MyUVa account. After registering and I decided to sign up for summer orientation. So I clicked the registration page and it pulled up some information about me, asking if the following above was true or not. Above that yes or no it said it big letters under "Programs if Applicable" category "NO Echols Scholar." So now I'm worried. And when I worry, I literally tear myself to pieces. I know it could possibly be due to the fact that the computer hasn't updated the info yet but I'm still unsure. Therefore, I'm asking a fellow newly admitted Echols to please click the registration page and see if the same thing shows up for you. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER. Just look at the page that has your information, asking you to confirm it or not. Here are some steps if you don't know how to get there:
1). Go to http://www.virginia.edu/orientation/
2). Under the blue Online Orientation Registration script, in the bottom right corner register to get your UVA email account (if you already haven't) and after registering your email account return to the orientation page.
3). Sign into your account. You will be directed to a MyUva page with "your portal to dynamic information" and blah blah at the top
4.) Click "New Students" near the top
5.) There should be a page that has a list of steps and check boxes. Under the first box where it says "REQUIRED" click "register for summer orientation." Once again, you will not have to actually register for anything, I just want you to see if the information they have about you is correct.
6.) It should direct you to a welcoming page. Click "Register Now"
7.) Under School/Program does it say "NO Echols Scholar" ?
Even though I am, my says no. Is this the same as any other Echols Scholar? (particularly those who were admitted early)

Thank you for giving me a chance to sleep easier...

So, umm panicker, you get the part about UVA being part of a state bureaucracy and likely to have bureaucratic screw-ups, right? i.e. just cause someone else sees a yes and you see a no doesn't mean you were revoked. You just need to call the school....

I called the Office of Admissions and they said they're much too busy with other stuff to delve into mine. I also emailed the orientation office, and they responded that becasue of the large amount of mail they've been receiving, they wont likely respond for 2-3 businesss days.

I'm sure they've been too busy to update Echols status. Don't worry!

Okay. I'm officially not worried anymore. On the bottom on the screen it says "Last Modified: Tuesday, 11-Jan-2005 13:21:39 EDT" Sorry. I panic very easily (psychological disorder) and when I do it comes with a lot of... lets say gastrointestinal ailments. Good Luck to everyone else. You are all in my prayers!

wait... 2005 was last year... OH NEVERMIND.

"I panic very easily (psychological disorder)"

Ohhh. Umm, ok.

yoyoyoyo cavalier, you are hilarious and i love how you respond.

This is why I loved living in the Echols-only dorms so much first-year.. you need to calm yourself. You are going to be a lot more stressed out when you actually get to UVA.
