<p>When I got my William & Mary letter two weeks ago, they notified me of Monroe and Admission at the same time. I received an regular admit for U.Va. but heard nothing about Echols. If I had gotten it, would I have been informed by now?</p>

<p>W&M is much smaller and a totally different feel. OP will have to decide which college is right for them, though the scholar will give W&M a boost I assume.</p>
<p>I’m in the same boat as OP. Monroe distinction probably puts W&M ahead of UVA for me.</p>
<p>not really, my d. was an early action admit to UVA and just today got email notice of echols</p>
<p>I believe most of the Echols students are informed no more than a month after getting their acceptance.</p>
